Getting a Puppy
In a few days I will be able to bring home my new puppy. I am very excited, to say the least.
I have never actually had a puppy before… I have had dogs, but they were all adopted as adults. My last dog, Kody, crossed over the rainbow bridge a year ago, and I am now ready for a puppy – I think!
The puppy’s mom is a German Shepherd, owned by a friend of my daughter’s. The dad is an Australian shepherd cross and the litter came about because both dogs are young and the owners wanted to wait until they were fully grown before neutering… Ooops…
I have Blu’s crate all set up and ready for him. He should be coming home in a week or so. The breeder was getting shots done this week.
I haven’t met Blu yet. My daughter and the breeder assure me that he is PERFECT for me. 🙂
I’m sure he will grow into a wonderful farm dog!
