It was time for Loki to move on… Loki has moved to a new home, where he will finally have his own Does. He has been wanting to make babies for some time now!!!
Loki’s new owners picked him up yesterday morning and he could not have been better behaved. He walked to the truck with no issues and we were able to lift him up to the goat transport crate in the box of the truck with very little difficulty. Then he was on his way to Saskatchewan to meet his ladies.
Loki in his younger days.
We spoiled Loki as he was one of the first kids we had on the farm. I always had treats in my pocket and spent lots of time with the kids.
He was adorable from Day 1. Here he is with his sister Lily.
Loki was weaned at 8 weeks, and lived with Player and Leo. Leo left in the fall of 2021, to start his own herd. Loki stayed to keep our breeding buck, Player, company.
We will Miss Loki on the farm. He is one of the friendliest bucks I have ever been around, but it was time for him to move on.
His new owners love him already and he will be so happy to finally get to make babies!!!
