Fencing is a Huge Project
The fencing project that we thought would be completed on the May long weekend, was finally finished (99%) on Labour Day!
The only thing left is two gates that are on backorder.
We now have 5 fully fenced pastures. There is lots of room for the goats and perhaps some horses or ?
We had to bring the fence pounder back for a second weekend, and then string all the cross fencing. It takes a while to find a weekend when everyone will be home to help out.

Goat Poop makes great fertilizer!
The doe house was reoriented to face south. As we head into fall, we wanted to make sure we get as much sun light and warmth into the goat house.
Look at the spot where it used to be. The area where the goats congregated in front of the goat house is a vibrant green
Goats Love Leaves and Branches
Every day I go out to the back 40 on the tractor. I collect poplar branches to feed to the goats for their daily treat.
Look how excited they are to get the branches!
The drive around the property also gives Sheba her much needed morning run!
The leaves are just starting to turn, as we head into Autumn. I’m not sure what I am going to do when all the trees are bare.
