The Tractor Tire Fell OFF!

Tire fell off the rim

Another Tractor Adventure

I was just driving along in my Tractor, when I noticed that something didn’t feel right… I looked down and saw that the Left Front Tire was completely off the rim!

Tire fell off the rim!

I can do this…

I found all the right tools and took the tire off the rim. Used the bucket to lift the axel and then supported it with pieces of wood. I was pretty proud of myself.

I put the tire into the car and headed into town to take the tire into the shop. It took a couple of hours, but they fixed it for me.

I managed to get the tire back onto the tractor. But then my Son in law told me that I needed to use the torque wrench to get the bolts tight.

One of the Bolts Snapped off while I tried to tighten it!

Now my tractor is on light duties until my son in law gets home. He can extract the stem of the broken bolt so we can replace it….

SO Much FUN

I am learning lots of new things with my tractor. Did you read about my muddy tractor Adventure?

We recently got our final grading done, so we have spent lots of time spreading dirt and grass seed. It is kind of late in the year to try to start grass, but we don’t want to have another muddy winter. Last year was a nightmare, with dogs tracking all the mud into the house.

We have been using our box blade to help get pads ready for our barn and hot tub. We are anxiously awaiting delivery of both.

I might even buy a small baler so we can make our own hay next year…
