Is Spring Coming???

Mud Season

We had a few warm days last week and all the snow melted. The area around our house has not been landscaped yet, so it is all Mud. It is a heavy clay that sucks you in and sticks to your boots.

Every time the dogs go outside, we have to spend time getting the clumps of clay from between their paw pads before they can come back into the house.

The Builder covered the driveway in several inches of rock before we moved in, but it has all sunk into the clay!

Another Dump of Snow

I was so excited to wake up to snow on Tuesday morning. We got a good 4 inches, so everything was white again and the snow was still coming down. I was so happy that the mud was covered.

Then my son-in-law had to burst my bubble. He pointed out that this snow will melt in a few days, and just make more mud!!!

I guess we have another month or so before spring starts…
